About Us

The Jersey Camping and Caravanning Club was formed in 1965 by a group of like minded people with a keen interest in camping, caravans and motorhomes. Since those early days the club has grown considerably and now boasts over 100 members from all walks of life and age groups. Our aim is to:-

  • promote camping and caravanning as a pastime
  • assist our members in the furtherance of their hobby
  • organize social events here in Jersey and in France.

The Club is run by an elected committee of up to eleven, whose members take on the various roles of President, Treasurer, Secretary etc. The Committee organize social events and provide a point of contact for members and prospective members. See our contacts page. Currently there are no organised rallies but members often meet up at Domaine du Logis in France where some members have static caravans.

A regular newsletter reports on recent Club events and keeps members informed of Club news and forthcoming events. The newsletters are normally distributed by e-mail but the latest newsletter is also available on our news page. Old newsletters and other news items are archived on our Archive page.

The Club is open to all, (whether a camper/caravanner/motorhomer or not), and new members are always made welcome.
